The Carl Cherry Center provides Monterey County with a venue for
challenging and original theater, with productions staged by visiting local
theater companies. A regular series of stimulating lectures, workshops,
classes, and panel discussions also entertains and informs audiences
throughout the year. The Cherry Center also produces an array of concerts,
recitals, and multi-media performances. A few blocks north of bustling
Ocean Avenue, this artistic hideaway provides an environment for
contemporary theater, art exhibits, concerts, solo dramatic performances,
and poetry readings.
