The Monterey County Theatre Alliance (MCTA) is an organization whose membership consists of Monterey Peninsula producers, actors, and many others with an interest in theatre. Membership benefits include two-for-one tickets to selected performances at participating theatres, free admission to MCTA mixers and a free subscription to the monthly newsletter Back Stage. Annual dues are $10 for Full-time Students or Stage Society Members, $20 for Individual Members, $30 for Affiliate Members and $60 for Producing Members. SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINE EXTENDED! The 2012 MCTA Theatre Arts Scholarship has extended the application deadline to May 18. Applications must be postmarked by this date to be eligible for consideration. Look on our website, mctaweb.org, for the application and a list of required attachments. We will review applications and announce our decision by June 18. A formal presentation will be made soon after that. Look in our July newsletter for all of the details! We want to thank all of our members who have generously contributed to our Scholarship Fund this year.
